“ Sooo happy AKD Kitchen is finally in Richmond! We used to drive all the way to Langley just for their ramen, it’s that good! You can really taste the care and time that goes into their chicken soup. So comforting and full of flavour. This spot is a must if you love a good bowl of ramen! This location is inside MOD Kitchen which is an online food hub for take out and delivery only. They have multiple local vendors that cook inside individual private kitchens and you can order easily on their kiosk or online from all the different restaurants in one bill. Very fun experience! ”

“ One of the best ramen places in the Lower Mainland, certainly one of the top local independent ramen joints. The menu is concise, with ramen, curry, and appetizers. Service is nice and efficient, and atmosphere is very clean and open. Broth is creamy and rich without feeling fatty. Noodles are thin and firm. The chashu is the thick meaty sort of tough type, not the thin fatty melt in your mouth type. I got the original ramen, with miso base (+$1) and spicy (+$0.70). The spice level is a satisfying medium that is hot but still enjoyable. It was a pleasantly surprising experience because the modern minimalistic look made me think it was going to be just another hipster shop but they have mastered the rich broth. I will definitely be back! ”

“ I love the pork chasiu ramen with garlic sauce while my husband enjoys his ramen with spicy sauce. Rich & hearty broth. We both like the perfectly cooked extra egg. The honey lemon soda was a great combination of bitter, sweet and sour flavor, very refreshing on a warm day. They have clean bathrooms. Happy to come back. ”
